The main aim of the project ‘උපට්ඨාන’, was to engage in an act of almsgiving, which holds a significant place in Buddhism as a meritorious deed. Through this initiative, we aimed to support and encourage the devotees observing Sil by providing refreshments, thereby creating a sense of care and community. Another key purpose was to highlight and uphold Buddhist values by promoting compassion, generosity, and spiritual services within the society. This project allowed us, as Leo, to strengthen our spiritual connection while fulfilling our responsibility towards the community.
